We have been getting ready for the Art expo in week 9. We are making our own tapa cloth which we dyed, scrunched, and then designed. We plan to make kiwi silhouettes to put on top. Here is a sneak preview to wet your appetite.

Classroom learning
We are learning so much in Kiwi 5 this year. We have learned how to share and take turns in all our activities and we are learning how to co-operate to make things together or just how to play alongside each other and admire each others work. Look at us at work and play.

Totara Park
Wow we had an amazing day at Totara Park!!!
We played on the big big park. Went for a fun bush walk with our whanau, had some games on the grass and went for a cool, cool swim in the refreshing pool.
After lunch we had another play on the park with a fort and some of us played hide and seek in the bushes. What a day!! Then home on the buses (it was a lot quieter on the way home) and then back to school for a rest and maybe some of us a sleep.
